Exploring Big Issues
Interactive Workshops for Churches
In conjunction with Glenwood Church in Cardiff and a core of professionals, thinkers and communicators Iain has helped develop, co-ordinate, facilitate, present and chair several series’ of interactive workshops designed specifically to assist church groups to explore and engage with topical and controversial science-based issues. Past series have looked at the bioethics, philosophy and theology of GM technology, cloning, stem cells and ‘end of life’ health care but have also included the more general social / citizen responsibilities of poverty and trade justice in the third world.
2007 will see the follow-up to the latest Exploring Big Issues series in November 2006 on Climate Change. More information and links to follow soon…
