Dr. Duncan Cole
Associate Status: The Doctor, Doctor!
Qualification/s: PhD, MRCP
Duncan is a clinical doctor and scientist: he is a specialist registrar (SpR) in Chemical Pathology and Metabolic Medicine in the University Hospital of Wales (UHW) at Cardiff University, and has a PhD in biochemical immunology.
Duncan has an extraordinary ability to consume, process, create and refine information and ideas. In recent years he has evolved from a bookish know-all to a person keenly interested in communicating with others the knowledge and communication skills he has so diligently acquired.
Among his varied and wide-ranging interests are philosophy, science-faith issues, sport, music and the natural world. He specializes in biomedical science issues, and works in close collaboration with Iain, often in an advisory capacity such as for the Exploring Big Issues series.
