Dr. Iain Price - Science Communicator

Sarah is a freelance consultant specializing in evaluation, research and communication about science, technology and innovation for both public and private sector clients. As the principal of Jenesys Associates Sarah provides professional evaluation services for numerous contemporary science communication initiatives such as FameLab and the British Council’s ZeroCarbonCity. Sarah also works in communications for the Institution of Civil Engineers in Wales.

Sarah has developed a strong interest in public awareness of science and technology and is currently completing an MSc dissertation focused on overcoming the challenges of communicating science to non-traditional audiences.

Sarah’s early career was spent in the agrochemicals industry in management roles in manufacturing, technical development and technical marketing. Formerly, Sarah was also the Business Services Manager at Cardiff University, where she was responsible for the management, development and marketing of the University’s services to businesses and for developing broader activities in support of the regional economy. Sarah, is a founder-director of a business incubation company, which has invested in businesses in the agri-environmental sector.

In her spare time Sarah chairs her local Community Council and enjoys walking.
